Some 1911 pics

Caspian .45 build.

A fellow down near Dallas named Gene Williams put it together for me.
He did an amazing job of fitting and finishing everything.
I won the barrel and Caspian slide at the 2003 AWARE invitational USPSA match.
I then purchased the frame from Caspian with the custom serial number. It wears a one piece Smith & Alexander mag-well/mainspring housing. Most of the internals are Ed Brown and of course it wears a Bo-Mar rear and fiber optic front sight. The grips panels are contoured Brazilian rosewood.
I affectionately refer to this one as “Baby”.

Thought I'd join in the fun after getting what amounts to my third 1911:

I'll give you $34 for it and you can double your money.[smile]

This is one you don't see every day here in the People's Commonwealth. An early 1980's Detonics Scoremaster from the Seattle plant.

Thanks, but $17 was the original price. I paid considerably more a few years ago. But, if you still want to double my money, I'll take a personal check.[smile]
