Selling our 2003 Chevy express 2500 AWD van. We got something larger. Van has only 64,000 miles on it. Wouldn't hesitate to hop in and drive it across the country. 5.3L gas engine runs great, All wheel drive t-case works properly. Light duty 3/4 ton (6 lug ). Clean MA title. Great start to a bug out vehicle.
Lots of exterior additions. Van has a fiberglass pop up roof that is in excellent condition and was professionally installed by Temstad in NY. 100 W solar panel on roof. It has some camper windows that open for airflow. ARB Awning that also has a full enclosure/tent sides. Has rear view camera and tow hitch. Lifted 2 inches with 5 matching 31" Grabber All terrain tires ( like new) on black aluminum wheels. Also have a full car cover for it.
Interior is mostly finished and totally useable. Has multiple interior LED lights. Solar charge controller, House battery, battery isolator, inverter, house radio w/speakers. Main battery and house battery shutoffs. Counter with sink and water pump (runs off 5 gal fresh water into 5 gal grey under sink). Would stow cassette toilet (not provided) and refrigerator/cooler (not provided) under counter. Rear couches/cushions slide out to form bed across rear. Storage under bed/couches. Has covers /insulation for windows and windshield.
New parts include, Alternator and belt, all brakes front and rear, calipers, pads, rotors. New starting and house batteries.
The van is mechanically great, the paint is not as nice as the pictures make it look. It has the typical GM flaking paint with the grey primer underneath, not bad enough for me to worry about it. It did have some frame rust in the very front behind the front frame horn that was professionally repaired. The frame was also cleaned out and coated inside and out.
