Selling to make space in safe and fund other projects.
Background: The “right arm of the free world”. During the Cold War, this was the weapon of choice for over NINETY countries (U.S. opted for the M14). Classic battle rifle with a modern twist. This combination is very rare in MA. Ready for long distance or offhand shooting.
Inspired after the original FN FAL 50.64, the Para model is superior to the original design due to recoil system contained in receiver instead of buttstock (less weight, less moving parts, allows side folding). Trigger is incredible. Pull is about 5-6 lbs, breaks solid and crisp with no creep. Side folding stock and muzzle brake fully legal due to pre-ban receiver.
A big selling point is the short-stroke piston gas system with adjustable block. Helps keep dirty gases out of the firing chamber, and can be adjusted for different ammo loads. You can even turn off the gas for manual cycling like a bolt-action gun. Very cool feature.
Description: Built on a preban Century Arms / IMBEL L1A1 serialized upper in metric pattern. The only things that are stock are the upper, charging handle, bolt, gas system, and barrel. Nearly EVERYTHING else is from DSArms. No plastic except the grip.
-DSA lower receiver
-DSA trigger group with upgraded springs
-DSA Paratrooper folding stock (folds nice and square against receiver)
-DSA rear metal sights with adjustable aperture and windage
-DSA front crosshair metal sight
-DSA BCG and recoil springs
-DSA railed dust cover (screws are not lok-tited in case you wanted to change it out)
-DSA safety selector
-DSA square trigger guard
-21” military-style pencil barrel has a stainless steel muzzle brake professionally pinned, welded, blued.
-AimSports aluminum railed handguard with MLOK slots, also comes with non-railed top guard.
-Fab Defense ergonomic grip
Deciding to sell this was difficult. I have AR10, M1A, PTR, no question the FAL is 308 king. Both show-off piece and range toy. Some minor blemishes but otherwise a tacti-cool beauty. Only 2 magazines test-fired since brand new. Iron sights zeroed at 50 yds. Optic ready for long distance pew pew.
Location : Middlesex county (meet in Waltham or Stoneham)
Accessories : 3 preban metric 20rnd magazines filled with 308 ammo. As many spare components as I can find.
Selling Terms : FTF via EA-10 with valid LTC
Price : SOLD!!
