So, they're afraid of everyone

Watching the news is fascinating this morning. The FBI is warning of armed protests in all 50 states. There are more troops in DC than in all of Afghanistan (including an Air Guard fighter squadron). Massachusetts is putting on an explicit "show of force" (quoting channel 5) at the statehouse today. Random MA reps are giving hyperventilating interviews about supposed threats. The National Guard is investigating the troops they have in DC out of worries about "insider attacks".

What does it say when the purported leaders of the country are this afraid of the citizenry? Has the government lost all ability to motivate people that exclude the use of fear?
How about if the president of the US did not give a Hitler-esque grievance speech for two hours full of provable lies about how the government stole his election?

Not really understanding how that's even remotely related to the thread, but, sure. Do you really think Biden's going to do that?

They are coming for @hminsky guns first, then will drain @hminsky's bank account to pay college, health insurance and reparations to all the illegals and anyone who feels their family is owed something. Then @hminksy will be forced to give his house to one of the migrant Americans because he is privileged. Then @hminsky will be on NES crying the loudest about how he was taken advantage of! [rofl]

Will you believe it after a court rules on it? What if that court is a military tribunal? What if we have confessions? Buffalo boys headpiece is really an electronic warfare info gathering device he has it all. Wed. traitor Bidet walks into the killzone and bam America is great again.

I must have missed that. Was it before or after he expressed concern that the protesters should exercise their rights lawfully and calmly?

Also, please note that the strident Karen-esque screeching of "No fair! You Lie!" does not constitute "proof" of a lie.

"So, they're afraid of everyone "

nope

The plan is to make people afraid of ideas and people "they" don't like and have them act accordingly in public and the voting booth.

Yes, they're afraid.

If they weren't, the same a**h***s who have spent decades telling us that walls don't work wouldn't be trying to install a permanent one around the Capitol building.

Quoting Professor Reynolds: Because nothing says “normal, legitimate election” like a swearing-in behind 12 feet of razor wire and 25,000 troops that you’re not sure you can trust.

they are not afraid, toast. This is a show of force

I think it’s a bit of both. I think a number of them discovered the color of adrenaline is brown on Jan 6 and they’re also using the events to their advantage. There are plenty of them who buy into their own BS.

Why have the show of force - unless you're afraid?

Sorry - but beating people into submission is ALWAYS an admission of fear that they won't do what you want them to do.

North Korea doesn't go around intimidating and beating their chest because they KNOW they're more powerful than everybody else - they do it because they're paranoid and in fear.

Teddy Roosevelt was correct.

They're not more powerful than everyone else and they know it, but their leaders are insane and they DO have a military that is dangerous, even to us.

When Biden gets us into a shooting war with them, we're f**ked. We'll win in the end but it will cost us.
