A long time ago I was good friends with a Jewish guy, haven't seen him in years as we both moved. He leaned liberal but not crazy liberal. One day he told me about his gun. I asked him what he had if for, not using the best phrasing when I was really wondering if it was for self defense, target shooting or whatever. He looked at me and said, "I'm Jewish."

A friend manages an FFL and also provides private instruction. Over the past year or two he's been providing basic license training at Synagogues in the area. And spinoff private shooting instruction. And he's busy.

My neighbor is Jewish and a gun guy. His family, and particularly his brother, gave him a hard time about it.

Last year his brother asked him how he could get a gun? How he could get a license?

My neighbor was shocked. Seriously never thought he'd see the day.

It's definitely changing among some. Necessity is the mother of invention...

it is more, it is a religion that replaced both the sense of ethnic heritage and allegiance to your tribe.
they want socialism, so they are destined to get it.
 
They said that the kibbutz that suffered the greatest loss of life on October 6 banned guns on the property. They thought the government would protect them. Further, the socialists who founded Israel weren't enamored of the average schmucks having guns, so it's not easy to get one there.
 
The guy spends more time watching Law & Order than studying law, that's for sure.

Tracing a gun???? Really????? I still don't get the hollywood-esque fascination with this. . . . and switchblades. although we just got those back here in mASS. So there's hope.

Life is complicated, and feeble, ignorant attempts at pigeon holing people and peoples into some monolithic way of living and believing is not easy. Stick to gunz mister, not judging others.
