So many interesting guns for sale, so little cash!!!

Yeah, I was only kidding about making pistols out of them, I have no interest at all and just don't have a use. You should have sold all those lowers, etc. before you left MA, you can get whatever you want now and probably could have made a profit. I do want to build one with a PWS piston upper to try, otherwise the lowers will likely just collect dust (but I do like having them, just cause). Like I have said before, I have too many guns that I do not use/shoot as it is. I'll continue to add to my ammo "collection" now and then but I am set on guns for the rest of my life, there just isn't much out there that perks my interest that I don't already have covered.
I sold enough before I left. But I never planned to bone people a la Reptile. No need to.

Kept a stash of stuff at my daughters for years and thats what I picked up on the way

Yeah. I can buy them for 40 bucks now or whatever. But I had what I wanted really.

Like you I dont need a bunch of them. Its nice to do some free state shit to make an ar pistol with suppressor and AK pistol for the truck gun.

I have refrained on the possible purchase of either a Simson or Krieghoff Luger last week.
They were not the nicest but matching, both went for approx. $ 4.5k each.
Issue is that we as a 3rd tier automotive supplier are on reduced hours since July and this will keep on until at least December.
Could have bought either one in cash but decided to keep the hens in the coop.

I've found that focusing on ammo helps control my addiction. Before buying I say "does this shoot a round I already own/shoot?"
It doesn't stop me but does slow me down, and then I go and add a cal, .38/.357 being my most recent.

At least this is what I tell myself [laugh]

So why are people selling stuff before the new law is enacted? Shouldnt they be buying?
Flipper culture.

ETA: there's an archetype of gun buyer that exists esp post 2013 that barely or rarely shoots, but they're into guns because they are flippers and want to scrape cash.

I have the same approach, but the opposite way. "Does this shoot a more powerful round than anything else I have?" ... if YES then I want it.

I've flipped most of my boring stuff and turned around and bought more interesting and rarer guns for the collection. I'm about 75% old/unusual/collectable guns at this point and 25% everyday guns. It's a good balance, but I'll probably swing more of the everyday guns as I go along.

I've flipped a lot of HKs. I since learned not to buy HKs.
I should be more specific when I talk about flipping I'm talking about people who only flip guns for profit and don't really give a shit about them at all otherwise. It's not quite the same as buying something finding out that you don't like it and then getting rid of it. 🤣

I'm talking about the Legion of EMTs and dog catchers that are out there that do stuff like flipping their f***ing blue label glocks every year and that kind of thing. 🤣

The majority of guns owned by that archetype are never even taken out of the box.
