Interesting. I always thought it was the 8th and I as I was stationed at The Washington Navy Yard directly across the street from them when this movie was made. I was supposed to be an extra in the court room scenes because my office was right across the hall from the court room they were going to use. They moved the filming to Virgina at the last minute after deciding the Navy Yard was too small and cramped. Those 8th and I guys would come to the yard to shoot M1's off the pier and leave alot of enbloc clips that I collected.
