So, just WHO is LEADING this fight?

It seems to me, and maybe others feel the same way, like there is no one person or entity that is leading the charge. Maybe nationally it is the NRA, but what about here in MA? It all seems terribly splintered and random, which is a recipe for failure. And failure can not be an option here. Everybody seems to be doing their own thing or it isn't even clear what if anything they are doing at all? This is it gang. There will be no second chance. If this madness isn't stopped cold, now, we are all in for a serious world of hurt for YEARS if not decades.

The only way to have a chance in hell of fighting in this war, and be clear that this IS a war now, is for someone, some group to take hold and put a comprehensive plan together. All of the resources, people and money, need to be harnessed so that it is done most efficiently and hopefully effectively.

Make no doubt, that general Obama and his liberal lieutenants in MA, NY, CA and elsewhere have been and are squarely in sync and operating to a common plan and timetable. They are treating this as if going after bin Laden. It is a fanatic and holy crusade for them. All of their resources (at the taxpayers expense) are being summoned, combined and implemented strategically to massacre the heretics.

So, what is our unified strategy and plan? Who is organizing all pro 2A factions into a single, focused team each with specific tasks? Who is our general? Who are our spokespeople? What is the legal plan, the media plan, the lobbying plan, how are the finances going to be used, etc? What is the official message that we all need to be able to convey?

- NRA
- GOAL
- Comm2A
- other pro 2A groups
- attorneys
- legislators
- marketers/media professionals
- gun shops
- gun owners
- gun clubs
- NES and other forum members
- resources from pro 2A States?
- others ???

You also need to consider that even if there was a cohesive, multi-layered strategy being executed, NES might not be the first priority for laying it out.

That's good to hear. I've been on every day, mostly late nights, this week. So many new threads, the message and coordination attempt is getting lost. Needs to be kept on top.

One of the things I see we have working against us is that we naturally tend to be individuals (no pun intended Individualist) and we do love our automony...that can (and does) work for us, but it can also get in the way of trying to do things together...we, as a rule, don't have the herd mentality that most of the sheeple have so it's hard to get our ducks in a row and get something like this going.

I believe we need a strong national figure helping to put this together...of course, no matter who it is, there will always be those that don't like him/her and will dissent and that's their right.

Whatever we do, we need to take the words of Benjamin Franklin very seriously... "We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately" if we expect to get anything done.
