Hello, I am looking into building an AR-15, and to start i need to pick what cal.So does CT LAW ALLOW 308 CAL.? If not what about 6.8. O lowwer will be new, no pre ban parts. Thanks for looking

You can have any caliber AR you want in CT. You just have to worry about the "evil features".

No flash suppressor, no telescoping stock, no bayonet lug.......

Freddy's got it right.

Put a fixed stock, a pined brake and grind off the bayonet lug and you are good to go.

Lets face it, the standard A2 stock is as good as anything functionally, but if you want something with a little sex appeal, check out the Vltor Rifle Mod stock. I like it so much I've got it on a pre-ban SBR of mine. Nice and comfy and looks great.
