Snuppy the wonderfreak

I'm in agreement with that. Although, I wouldn't object if they could just do organs for transplants...that would be a good thing, but, they won't stop there.

I am morally ambivilent when it comes to cloning. I agree with Lynne that it would be great if they could clone organs for transplants and such. Then too, there is the stem cell research issue which is wedded to the cloning issue.

The reality of the situation is that cloning is going to continue and higher life forms are going to be cloned regardless of what the United States does or does not do in this area. Apparently, from what I understand (very little knowledge is a dangerous thing) there are some serious impediments to the cloning of a human being, whether by accident or design. Of course, if a human can successfully be cloned religion is going to be turned on its ear.

It is indeed a Brave New World that we are living in...

Regards,

Mark

Yea, this is a sticky subject. Like it was said. It would be good for transplants, marrow, things of that nature.

But Mark brings up a good point. With other counties doing what they want, they will more than not try to clone humans...if they haven't already.

I just can't believe that there isn't someone out there that hasn't already tried.

I want a clone of myself. Then I can send the clone home to Melody while I stay out all night drinking with the guys. He could fill in the the in-law functions as well. Almost like my own personal servant. That'd be great. [wink]
