I love snubbies. Of all the handguns Ive owned, I usually reach for my Model 60 smith and wesson in .38spl (the new one is a .357). My wife isnt an anti, but doesnt like when guns are "obvious" to her - carrying a snubbie is the perfect balance of concealability and power - I dont feel outgunned with this weapon.

I cant post pics of it as Im at work but she rides in a crossbreed holster on a 5.11 Instructor belt, loaded with Hornady Critical Defense, 2 speedloaders.

I am considering trading this for a .357 - perhaps a Taurus 605 because its basically a JFrame as well. Not so much because of the .38, just because i want to eventually get a .357 lever gun and this will allow for more ammo compatability.
I know you can shoot .38's in a .357, I'm not sure about lever action rifles though. They could accomodate a .38. Someone with more experience could answer.

They qualify Pilgrim. Nice. I have a feeling I'll own more. Scubaredsox, nice Cobra.
Pilgrim can you tell me more about that tiny old timer? What caliber are those little short loads?

Thats cool. thanks. You learn something new every day. I had no idea they made rimfires back then. Can you still get that caliber today? What does the cb designate?

Here's a few.....

just wondering if anyone has an inside email address/contact at Four Seasons...I've called a few times and have left emails in their main box. I'm trying to purchase a used firearm from them. I know how busy they are...Im driving from the outter Cape and just want to make sure its there before I drive all the way up to Woburn. Thanks !

They usually answer the phone.
at least the one time I called.

Pilgrim, who makes the derringer in the 2nd to last pic you posted? I've only seen warnings like that on the Tanfolio TZ pistols.

FIE, whoever they are. I got the gun cuz it was real cheap. It's not a bad gun, just not a good one. It's a .38spl. Should pack a wallop. I haven't dare fire it yet.

I really like this 629. Are the grips stock? The extra meat on the barrel really makes it look current.

I think there's more mini wheel gun guys here than you think. My carry gun has been a Glock 27 for the last 20 years, but before that I carried a S&W mod 60 stainless stubbie for five years. It was the first gun that became a part of me. I dread the day I sold it. It was like a living appendage to me, but I had a friend that really liked it and bugged me for a couple years to sell it. I finally obliged him,..maybe to shut him up. I think the wheel gun big or small will always have it's place. It's a classic.

This one is in another revolver thread probably my favorite.

Wow, "Traveling" gun,..nice

You get that little black ring under the firing pin too. I thought I had a crack in the frame.

My ruger sp101 gets that as well.......hoppes and a coppeer brush used gently on it works very well.....same for the burn rings on teh front of the cylinders.
