It was a pleasant surprise. I kept hearing light and fluffy and was thinking "BS!, its halfway through March." Thought for sure we were going to have to deal with some heavy wet crap.

Next time you drive into Boston on the Zakim, get in the HOV lane. Look left and you will see most of the warehouses have little sheds for their snow throwers.

    It's been a long day.

JKU + Ariens = Snow annihilation.

I had an Ariens LE model and it was good. But I wanted a bigger machine with a Hydro Static drive.

Really liking my Hydro Pro 28" (in my opinion it was well worth the investment)

The largest snowblower dealer in New England (volume wise is Boston LawnMower in Westboro) I bought mine there and I do recommend their shop.

We got 2-3 more inches overnight. Thank god this was light and fluffy! I'm feeling it this morning after muscling the snowblower through the past two storms worth of snow in my yard. I eneed up drinking my dinner so my back would let me sleep.

Turned on the switch this morning, and light came out. Life is good.

The electrons LIKE the cold. All that dancing and colliding in the copper wires heats them up....a nice cooling snow storm, and they are at their happiest energetic goodness!

Did final cleanup this morning (did the first cleanup last night when it slowed down). Have another couple of inches on the ground. Also cleared the deck, to the grill and the stairs going from the deck to driveway. Plus shoveled out most of what was in the truck bed. I plan to get a cover for the truck bed before next winter. Makes cleanup MUCH easier there. ;)

I just wish this place had gutters on the front of the house. With the snow melting on the roof, we get a line of water coming down. Plus ice forms all along the front (on the ground).

Leave the snow in the pickup bed. It adds weight and helps with traction. And it melts in the spring when you don’t need it anymore. Easier than loading and unloading sand bags

Already cleared the bed of the truck. Traction isn't really an issue when I leave the drive selector on 'auto' (2WD/4WD modes). Not like the old truck which was so light over the rear axle that if I hit a decent bump at any speed, the rear end would swing out on me.

BTW, if anyone is interested, there's a tree that came down in the last storm that could be up for grabs. It's under all of the snow from this storm though, so it might be a bit before it's exposed. Plenty of branches (decent size too) also in the yard. If you're interested, shoot me a PM. IF I had a fireplace, or wood stove, I'd be keeping it. But since I have neither (nor a fire pit) I really don't have any use for it.

Early indications are that it could be a sizable one. Another foot after 3’ dropped in the last 6 days?

    Yikes!

When will winter relinquish its reign in storm-battered Northeast?

Go on, media whores. Hype it up. The more you go on about being buried under yet more feet of snow the less likely it is we'll get more than a dusting.

Boston has 56” at Logan season to date. Not much above average.

Accuweather and other sites calling for very little snow north of 90 - but local channels are still calling for plowable snow out to 495 and worcester

The last few model runs are trending towards more snow inland...who the F knows. All the super computers and satellites the best they can predict is that we will get 0-24 inches in New England.
