Anyone get caught watching WFXT this morning and hear Anquinette, the newswoman, proclaim that "Anyone who picks up a gun intends to kill" as if it's a scientific fact? I try to avoid watching the local MA news these days; regardless of the time of day, the items these stations present as news are chosen by libs and then given that lib-twist to make the presentation even more lib. But I got caught this morning when I walked into a room where one of the TVs was turned on just in time to hear this crazy liberal spout off this statement. How is it that these poor excuses for news people think they can take a seat in front of a camera in a broadcast station and say anything they want to say to an audience who looks up to and expects them to present a news item in a truthful manner? Where are the ethics of these so-called journalists? Why are they not held accountable for "truth in news broadcasting?"

I know I should take the news as it is presented here in the Boston metro area with a grain of salt. I haven't lived here all of my life; I've had many years of exposure to television news in other parts of the country where it is presented quite differently. What irks me, though, is that there are folks out there who will really come to believe that, if they pick up a gun, their intent will be to kill just because this sorry ass of an excuse of a news person said so.

My apologies for the rant; but I had to get this off my chest.

Don't ya love the way the media is prasing the Supreme Court decision about the military trials for the detainees? If they could put any more glee in their voice as they say "Dealt a crushing blow" or "Told Bush that his powers are not absolute." they would be giggling like a school girl.

OK, so the trial setup wasn't legit. Now you find one that is while keeping the dangerous people out of circulation.
