OK, while shooting my new to me Yugo sks with a freind the topic of the grenade launcher came up. Does anyone know of someone who sells inert rifle grenades specficaly for a SKS. I have seen these in most of my searches

http://www.bloomautomatic.com/index_files/m1a2.htm

but they A) are nato bassed not warsaw (not that they wouldnt work, but i would like to be correct)
and B) I dont think the two part system would look as good as a one peice.

any ideas?

I remember reading info on Sksboards.com a while back about people using the grenade launching system on their rifles. Not sure if any style will work. They may be universal.

AFAIK the blanks are corrosive.

You might be able to find a source in Shotgun News too.

I have been pondering the idea of a model rocket that looks like one of those M60P1- HE rifle grenades. [grin] Winter Project idea? It would make a fun display on my desk.

Thank you for the photos with the human and the rifle, now I have a reference for the actual size.

Remember kids.... if you try this at home: Make certain it clearly states " inert" or "Display only" or something like that. I have had authorities show up at a Cub scout launch because some neighbor thought an Honest John missile model was a real grenade.
(insert stupid M*******-Moonbat comment here)

Update .. this got me motivated. initial work-up need refinement and stability analysis (only because I want mine to fly)
Working on the lower example pictured.
