I like both. And 1911's. Especially Colts and Colt clones.

But I do prefer to carry Glocks.

I don't own either the Sig or Glock. I do have a 1911 that I love, but in my opinion there are SOOOOO many other great guns out there that I picked the "something else" category.

Fell in love with the 1911 growing up watching old WW2 movies and such. Something about a firearm that is 90 yrs old in design and is still considered a reliable weapon.

I've shot glocks and sigs (didn't like the P226 at all but rest were nice)

Yup, need another choice, Darius. Have carried all at one time or another, depending on time of year, dress, whim.....

With proper maintenance, practice and attention, all will do the job.

I know the old saying is, "Beware the man who only has one gun," but my training has convinced me of the virtues of being equally adept in using a variety of different guns.

Which reminds me - guess who's shooting wheel guns this coming year in IDPA?!

I have a revolver, I have a glock, I have a sig (now that I've managed to "borrow" another gun from poor dear friend) and I'd have to agree with all of the above. Though I voted for Sig just because they feel a smidge nicer in the hand than a glock. But just a smidge.

I've always picked Sig over Glock in the past, mostly because of the lack to trigger time on Glocks, and the KABOOM stories.

I have now shot one of LenS and a few of my cousin's Glocks and I was impressed with the triggers and accuracy of them. I will eventually own one, it just won't be in this state.

Well, I guess I show my age when I vote Revolver. I own them, I shoot them I like them.

Second choice is a 1911, last is my SIG 239.

I have owned Glocks but always end up selling them off asking myself "Why did you buy another??" Only Glock I really liked was the G17.

As for revolvers, I just like the dependability and function of a well worked DA revolver.

Gary

I'm hoping to be the proud owner of a Glock 22 by the end of the day. :D

A little old lady gun. My Mom (step mother) has a G22, and she's in her 80's. 8)

LOL!! Well it is my "Traning Glock" as it's going to be my first.

Maybe down the road I can take off the wheels and get a real man's Glock. And as I don't really know that much about them, what is that? :D

G 17? I hear that special ops use that one because it's rated to be shot fullly submerged under water... [shock]

Well, just what did you expect from an FFL's wife?

She does say she likes her S&W revolvers as well.

A "Real Man's Glock" would have to be a 10mm. More recoil than a 45.

You've heard M14's called "Real Man's Guns" before, right? Well, I got a good friend of mine shooting one and LIKING it the first day she went shooting.

You're not the only one Gary. I like revolvers too. :D

then again...I'm WELL past the age of consent. [wink]

Some day you will have to try a really smooth 625 I worked over as well as a pair of 66-1s I have. Those are real nice revolvers. They are attached to a leash as most want to take them home.[wink]
