Scroll to the bottom and it says created by Yiallo enterprises, who's site is suspended if you click on that link. I also do not see a link to this on the LP.org, where it would be hosted were it official. Registration of the domain is also to Yiallo enterprise which owns many spam domains according to whois results.

In any event, what do petitions really achieve?

I took it off the facebook page for the Libertarian Party. I think the lp uses him for his web design work. libertarian party doesn't have the biggest bank account. Maybe after this, people will forget the republican party and join the libertarian party so that they can hire a web designer that can pay to keep his homepage up.
