Sighting in question, 10/22

The problem with cheap optics especially scopes is it does not take much of over torque on the rings to F them up. Cheap read dots are just that Cheap and are a Crap shoot.
Good luck...
I would suggest return the good shooting 10/22 to its previous condition and pray it still shoots well...

Oh maybe he needs to install the bayonet

One other thing if he bought the stock kit used don't waste any more time with it.

In all honesty if he wants a AR looking 22 sell or return the archangel kit and the 10/22 and go buy a AR in 22lr.
