sig p250SC .45 legal in ma?

I met a guy who moved to MA with an p250 sub compact xchange kit in .45.....could i purchase it from him, or is it a absolute no? i know you cant purchase it in MA,but he moved here with the kit.

Actually SIG lists that it is MA compliant so possible to find in MA FFL stores.

But either way it is legal to own with LTC
