Sig Manufacture date information

I recently purchased a p228 and was wondering if there is a way to tell the date of manufacture.

Sig Date Codes:

A-0
B-1
C-2
D-3
E-4
F-5
G-6
H-7
J-8
K-9

The 2 letter code is on the bottom of the slide and is the date that it was proofed in Germany. Only guns proofed in Germany have the date codes.

Anyone know the date codes for Springfield Armory (the one in Illinois)?

I tried emailing the company and googling but no luck. LW110XXX is the SN

E-maill them, they will tell you. They will also try and sell you a Certificate of when it was made, just say no.
