Sig 1911

So i was perusing the dealer ads and run across one selling a Sig Ultra 1911, but in 45 cal. I know Sig makes this in 9mm, and i ask said advertising store if they can get one. The repsonse from them was "Sorry, no Sig 1911 is Ma approved". What?

BS. The most cautious FFL I knew sells a could of sig 1911 flavors.
I know another that keeps 4-6 models in stock.
p.s My sig 1911 target is the most accurate out of the box 1911 I've owned.

Sigs are MA legal. Fact. Plenty at stores.

It's very rare to see a store in MA without a sig 1911, very common and very MA compliant. Not super popular do to quality issues years ago, but I think those are fixed now.

The Sig 1911s I've shot were accurate but I have no idea how well they hold up. The MBTA SWAT Team carries Sig 1911 pistols. I was looking at one a few days ago and it's a nice looking pistol. I'm guessing that SWAT pistols get shot a lot so they should be pretty durable.
