It doesn't look a bit like mine. Cleaning solvent & gun oil everywhere, small drops that added up. Close your eyes and you can smell the Hoppes .

Hmmm...that would be the table in our living room, in front of the TV & fireplace! Certainly not as spiffy as ramair2k's setup!

All ammo cans will be able to fit under the lower shelf and be locked up thanks to this shithole state.

Workbench? What is this thing you refer to? Maybe you mean that ratty old beach towel that I put on the rug and my box-o-tools? I’ll spare you the photo :)

Looks good. Any particular reason you made the lower shelf shallower than the top? I'm guessing maybe so you can scoot yourself in close while sitting on a stool?

That’s exactly why, I like to be close and be able to lean over my work if I need to. The lover shelf is 15” deep and there is also a 12” shelf on the wall with window built in. I’ll also add shelves or cabinets on the wall space above.

The only tip I can give regarding work benches is to install a 1/4" half round stock around the outside edges of the bench. That stops little things from rolling off the back or front of the bench. Finding that small spring is a lot easier when it is still on the bench.
