well not a utility or carry knife, but my first high quality Japanese kitchen knife. UPS brown santa dropped it off today.

Gesshin Ittetsu 240mm Gyuto in white steel no. 2 (high carbon).....it will require lots of care to avoid rust but looking forward to getting a nice patina on it. this thing could lop my finger off with 0 effort. 100% hand forged in Japan.

Hey, tell her it's still better than being hooked on drugs or gambling... [rofl2] True. I always get “how many knives do you need?” I never have a good answer..... I may sell a few on eBay to continue to fulfill the obsession.
