SHOW ME YOUR HAND CANNONS

My hand cannon. Lematt revolver. 9 .44 caliber shots, and if thats not enough, a 20 guage shotgun blast under main barrel (think that screams hand cannon :D). is a heavy and bulky beast at a tad over 13" long, and weighing 4 pounds, but is a real head turner.

What qualifies as a hand cannon?

According to Wikipedia,
Hand Cannon (also called a gonne or handgonne) (Arabic: midfa‎; Chinese: 手銃; Russian: пищаль) is an early form of firearm. It is possibly the oldest type of portable firearm, as well as the simplest type of early firearm, as most examples require direct manual external ignition through a touch hole without any form of firing mechanism. It may also be considered a forerunner of the handgun.[1] The hand cannon was widely used until at least the 1520s in Europe and Asia, where it was mostly supplanted by matchlock firearms.

That's badass 8 ways to Sunday.

OLD Ruger .44 Mag Redhawk set up.

It hasn't been fired in this configuration since 1997. NO current photos.

Hoping, thinking to go to the Pumpkin Shoot and meet everyone![grin]

Most likely will not be shooting though.[frown]

Middle - 6" IMI Desert Eagle Mark I (custom built for a former sales rep) .44 Magnum

I saw a nice 4" redhawk when I stopped by Cabelas the other day, they look like a great revolver. I'd like to get that or a GP in the near future.
