My first post of 2022!

Here's a pic of what I call my Franken'rinco. I bought a pre-ban Norinco Mak90 barreled receiver and built it myself with parts from 7 different countries and it runs GREAT! This is my favorite AK in my collection.

Chinese Norinco barreled receiver
Romanian Bolt and Carrier
Polish Bakelite Grip and dust Cover
Yugo RPK recoil assembly
Bulgarian Furniture
US LBE UNLIMITED muzzle brake and US Franklin Binary Trigger
Russian leather sling

How do you like that binary trigger ? I’ll bet it gets some attention .
I have both the Fostech Echo II and the BFSIII for AK. They are fun to rapid fire and certainly turn heads when you do mag dumps. I've gotten the barrel so hot the finish on the handguard started to bubble but I prefer the smooth single shots or doing controlled double taps. A good muzzle brake is a must for double taps or rapid fire.
I prefer the look of the BFSIII over the Fostech. The Fostech has an aluminum selector plate that mounts under the selector which I am not fond of. The BFSIII is more discrete however the BFSIII uses an extended pistol grip bolt to attach the rear of the trigger group instead of the rear trigger pin. I currently have the BFSIII in it but I'm not sure how I feel about carrying my rifle around by the back end of the trigger group?
