Short buffer tube

havibg a difficult time with a pistol buffer tube.

Lower is a Anderson Manufacturing lower.
Buffer tube is a Palmetto State Armory tube.

There is not enough thread to screw the buffer tube in is my problem. I don't really know what's going on here.

it does not look like the castle nut is backed off as far as it will go. can you screw the castle nut further or not?

It's as far as it will go.

It's the same buffertube here if that helps, the castle nut wasn't included. I called PSA up and they are sending one to me so I figured I'd use one I already have.

I don't think that kit from them is supposed to use a castle nut

The buffer tube is larger diameter and should just lock everything in to place once you thread it in and tighten it
