Hey folks, according to the Title II website, SBR's are supposedly legal in MA. There doesn't seem to be any reference to them in the MGL's either. Has anyone on this site ever gotten an SBR transfer and lived to tell about it?
I've got my eye on one of Vector Arms' V-51 rifles, except they look silly with the extended barrel or the fake can. If it makes any diffference, I live in Barnstable and have a Class A ALP permit.
Thanks
John

If you have any questions about the process, feel free to ask.

It was pretty painless to get done, waiting is the worse part

"the wait" lucky guy ATF only had your papers for two months, that's not even a wait [wink] ...

Anyway to confirm what else has been said here. SBR's are fine in Mass, only "problem" might be will your CLEO sign or not...becasue if not corporations are to damn expensive here...

Yeah,
2 month was surprisingly fast, with the NFA branch move to West Virginia, the approval process has sped up.

CLEO sign off can be a problem, a living trust is another way to go and maybe be cheaper than LLC
