Are there any ranges that lt you practice drawing your gun and shooting? Most of the ranges I've seen are very strict about NOT shooting from the holster.

Not close to you but Mansfield F&G allows this as long as you maintain proper safety practices.
Harvard, Worcester, and Westford to name a few. Pelham and New Bedford too, unless they require an event or something.
My experience is the opposite, most ranges I've seen allow it, but that's mainly because the primary reason I travel to other ranges is for IDPA/USPSA matches.
