Shooting in Worcester - What Gun?

That's a standard setup, a little plastic tent, a cyanoacrylate fumer.

I've seen this done with Tupperware and the heater you use for hot melt glue.

Doesn't the orange thingy on the barrel mean it's a toy?

looks like a foam earplug - keep the fumes out of the bore so they can get an accurate rifling comparison without compromising evidence by cleaning it (your honor, they mechanically manipulated that weapon)

Setting the prints on site is a great idea - less chance of obscuring evidence.

Ahh.... That explains the "why on the hood of a car" question.

Bro, you kidding? This is WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS!! By definition it HAS to be one of the safest cities in the THE WORLD!! Massachusetts with our STRONG guns laws and Liberally run cities.. we don't have crime. As such we have no need for advanced crime detecting techniques!!

Besides, they spent all their spare monies on that Shot Spotter system, which I am confident worked out GREAT.. uhh.. right?

They really doing that with sticks, plumbing parts, and a trashbag... on the hood of a car?
What is this, CSI:McGyver?
