Shooting in San Diego

I awoke to a text from my son (in San Diego) that was sent a few hours ago. He said there are cops everywhere around his apartment but didn't know why. Apparently, two cops were shot and the perp is dead. He still has a Mass LTC, but of course that's useless in CA, so he was unarmed.

Glad to hear he's okay. It sucks to be left unarmed and it's disgusting that people are given and have the authority to violate the rights of others by disarming them leaving them to face threats unarmed.
