Shooting friendly campgrounds

Hello,

We are planning our camping trips now for the summer, and I'm wondering if there are any "Shooting Friendly" campgrounds in NewEngland?

We have a 29' travel trailer, so something that can accomodate that would be ideal.

Well, don't bother going to the other board to look at the responses there. I got a message from the moderator there:

Sorry, but I had no choice but to lock the thread. I totally understand what you were asking, but the "firearm friendly campground" part just brought out too many off-topic and flaming replies. I guess people were imagining a campground where everyone was free to shoot at will!?! Too many posts needing deletion to keep up!!

Some people just don't get it... I didn't go back to the board in time to see any of the offending replys, so I don't know what they were, but I can just imagine...

Too bad, it is a really good board generally for RV related info. I recomend it if you are interested.

Anyway, any ideas are appreciated!

Sorry, I can't help you Matt but I think it's pretty crappy that your thread got locked because a mod didn't want to do her job. It's a legit question.

I'm afraid the moderator was doing her job. It is a VERY active board, so sometimes threads get slammed by people with "opinions"...

She was good about it. Things can spin out of control if not nipped in the bud. It's not a firearms board, so if it gets too of topic, she has to kill it/move it.
