Where can i find all the laws about shooting on my own private land?

There are no specific laws about shooting on private land. But C. 131 § 58,60,61,66,67, & 70, and C 269 § 12E come to mind.

Also, some cities and towns have bylaws against the discharge of firearms.

MGL 269/12E - No person may discharge a firearm, rifle or shotgun within 500' of a dwelling or other building in use - except with the consent of the owner or legal occupant.

MGL 131/87 - No one may discharge any firearm or release any arrow upon or across or within 150' of "any state or hard surfaced highway." A person also may not possess a loaded firearm or "hunt by any means" on the land of another within 500' of any dwelling in use, unless authorized by the owner or occupant.

Also, check with your local PD or town/city hall for any town bylaw or city ordinance prohibiting such activity.

MichaelJ, I think you meant C 131 § 58, as § 87 deals with powers of arrest without a warrant.
