HOPKINTON – The Hopkinton and Ashland police and fire departments are on scene at the boat ramp on Hopkinton State Park for a report of a shooting.

Not the first time there, Responded to a gun shot suicide at the park HQ entrance years ago, That was also the place that we dealt with the arsehole that killed his wife and kids then did himself in. Kids were found in a pond further south along 495

Can't be the same, the perp is still alive aka Seguin in the link plus none of the murders had anything to do with hopkinton state park.

With regards to Sequin, what the F was that jury thinking? He gets convicted of 3 counts of 2nd degree? Even if the first two murders were not premeditated or extremely violent, the murder of the wife was hours later, and obviously premeditated. But even the first two were premeditated as he drugged them and drove them to an isolated pond to kill them. The time to do that makes it premeditated.

1st degree murder in MA also doesn't need to be premeditated,

Murder committed with deliberately premeditated malice aforethought, or with extreme atrocity or cruelty, or in the commission or attempted commission of a crime punishable with death or imprisonment for life, is murder in the first degree. Murder which does not appear to be in the first degree is murder in the second degree.

How the hell can the jury hear those facts, slicing his kids throats and bludgeoning his wife to death and not find it's extreme atrocity or cruelty? F'ing idiots.

I can remember that we were called out with ATV's to conduct the search of the State Park.....
