Anyone got any info on the window sizes of the various Shield Optics red dots? I’m looking to replace a Holosun HS407K on my P322. The Shield sights are very light. I have an RMSc, which is nice, but I’d like to know how much bigger the regular RMS window is.

I found info on the RMSx which is their really big one, but nothing comparing the RMS to the RMSc.

Thanks,
Cuz

The published specs are super close. RMS is 42x25x23mm. The RMSc is 40x23x22. So 2mm in width and height, and a negligible amount of length. The length is odd because I thought they were the same footprint. But as you'll see below, the overlay seems to back this up on width.

They are supposed to have the same footprint. I’ll have to check the mounted RMSc when I get home to see if it has 2mm of space available to support the larger RMS optic. Although, it’s really not a whole lot larger…

  • RMSc -(length x width x height) 40 x 23 x 22 mm
  • RMS – (length x width x height) 42 x 25 x 23 mm

  • RMSc -(length x width x height) 40 x 23 x 22 mm
  • RMS – (length x width x height) 42 x 25 x 23 mm
They don’t specifically give the window size, but based on how close the dimensions are, the windows must be very close.
