Semi Auto 308 Platform Question

I was looking at semi-auto 308 rifles. I was hoping anyone had experience with PWS rifles and their platform. Does anyone have experience with these? Any comparison the SCAR?

I own a couple of PWS rifles in 5.56 and they have been flawless. I haven't had the chance to try out their .308 model, but it seems to be well received by those that own them.

Going by my experiences with their 5.56 guns, I would personally buy without any worries.

BTW... 8.5" Diablo in 5.56 and a 14.5" in 5.56

Since the SCAR takes pre-bans, that would seem to tilt the scales in Mass, no?

yup , doing a tiny mod to FAL metric mags makes them fit my scar, though they don't lock back for me..

I doubt you'll need more than 20 rounds of .308.

KAC made 20rd prebans for thier .308 rifles, but they are fairly hard to come by. They work in REPR, PWS or DPMS pattern rifle.

Got 10 of them.

hahaha! that is hilarious... still torn about the SCAR and PWS MK216, but if I can mod FAL metric mags just for plinkers, then I am really drawn towards that. I should have also noted I shoot lefty or "WRONG HANDED" so that should have made the decision for me lol.

how long have you had them? how many rounds have you put through? was reading something about the barrel nuts having issues. anyway, these are MOD1 MK216's i was looking at.
