selling off C&R rifles & pistols

I read that as Len commenting on the OP's lack of response, not our lack of response.

I feel teased.

LOL, lack of reading comprehension. Product of SoCal public school. Maybe I can get 'special' status in New England?

OK guys got a LOT overwhelmed. a group of long guns are getting priced and cataloged and will be up for sale at B&K in Natick. ( BUT NOT JUST YET SO DON"T BE BUGGING BRIAN WITH PHONE CALLS) I will put up list here 1st. ( about 16 long guns)

Thought I could do all this by myself just not enough time with work and all.

Dan Long

Brian is great- seems like a win-win. Looking forward to the list.

At least he went to a decent dealer so he'll get some decent money for his guns, and Brian is a real good guy to deal with from our end too.

Hey now.

I went to schools there, too. Which just means I don't prnounce "roof," "salsa," or "beer" like a New Englander.

I hope you get what you want for them! B&K is a good way to go if you're going the FFL route!

I also hope that all the complainers in this thread miss out on making a purchase!

Actually my schools were not that bad, except for the set your own pace math program. I lived longer in the South, so there's that. So you don't pronounce beer as 'bee-yah' either?

You realize that cosmic irony dictates that the biggest complainer will luck into the biggest score? [laugh]

Don't know you would have to look at it yourself.
How might we get specifics? For example, is the K98 a matched piece or a Russian capture?

I don't know for sure. Think it was a Russian capture, you would know better than I would, guess you would have to see it.
Sorry I can answer with better info

Thanks for the update Dan.

Everyone needs to choose between convenience and cost. You made your decision. Others here may be disappointed but that is not your problem...

Agreed.

It is also not Dan's problem if people bug the hell out of Brian about it! [smile]

Curious what you have as far as pistols for sale. Not that I would buy any but looks like we have similar taste in old guns. I am toying with the idea of selling off some of mine too, but I always come back to "No. Eff that. Keep them because they aren't making any more of them and they only go up in value."

I know what you mean. Putting up the rifles is killing me inside, but it's time. The pistols I'm trying to catalog and figure out what accessory's go with which pistols, ie: holsters, magazines and some with ammo. Take some pic's and figure out pricing. Was think of setting them all up at my Gun club and sit there for the day letting anyone that wants to come by and check them out.

I like that Idea, let's go by NES member numbers.

That would only be fair!

And I think Len misunderstood what I was saying. I didn't mean I was the 7th member ever on NES, I meant that if going by the "join date" on each person who posted in this thread at the time I typed that, I was the 7th oldest member. [laugh]
