I did some searching on the forums, but most information gets mixed with reloading. My question is simple...

I have ammunition for a gun I no longer own. Can I Legally sell it outright to someone with an fid/ltc? Can I legally trade it for equal value ammunition with no cash ever exchanging hands?

Under MGLs, one needs a Ammunition Seller's license to sell ammo.

I'm sure that this is always scrupulously observed, and no transfers of ammo have occurred contrary to the law.

BTW, "Sell" is specified, but I'm guessing that John Law might see a "Swap" in the same light;

IANAL, YMMV, etc...

Yeah, you also need a license to sell a car in a bunch of municipalities.
