OP if you are intersted in driving down to the south shore this weekend you can try out my Aimpoint PRO on my 16" carbine, and a Nikon M223 on a 20" to see what you like better.

You can get them at AIM and Amazon occasionally too. I really want to try one out sometime.

The glass is good but the Revolutions dont track worth a damn. Its fine for a short range scope / hunting scope inside 200yd but if you need accurate adjustments forget it.

For most uses theyre fine, but the turret tracking was always a deal breaker for me.

I wouldn't know. I've got no use for those features. I just want cross hairs and magnification, and for that, the Revolution scopes are great.

Yup. I have one on my .17 HMR. Perfect for an application that is set it and forget it.
