SCAM ALERT in the WTB

I recently posted a wtb ad for a c4 rail. I got this message:

I had an email conversation with that user before agreeing on a price.
They only were willing to use Venmo or cashapp so I was a bit concerned. No references or anything.

the Venmo is was @Dominique-Milord

I decided to google the email and found tons of scam alerts dated back to mid 2019.

Hopefully nobody else falls for this scums games

Yeah, I don't know cashapp but Venmo people seem to like because it's money going from your bank to the other person. But the problem is once you send using venmo, your bank has no control and cannot get your funds back. No protections.
