An Uber driver had a bullet go through his windshield.

At about 6:55 a.m., gunfire erupted on Albion Street in Salem, with surveillance video showing three individuals running down the street and firing dozens of shots in just seconds before fleeing the area.

"Nobody was struck, so we’re grateful for that, and we believe that the perpetrators have left the area, so there doesn’t seem to be any ongoing danger to the residents of Salem," said Salem police Chief Lucas Miller.

I find the characterization above to be extremely bias and pejorative…”terrifying” has a strong negative emotional effect on the reader….which could unfairly lead ppl to view these future doctors, lawyers, engineers and astronauts in a less than positive light
