Saiga 7.62X39, 12 almost complete

Here is my almost completed Saiga, you know what they look like before so here are 2 after.

I tried using a pipe cutter on the muzzle but didn't get very far. Maybe tomorrow I will try my dremel tool.

I purchased a thumbhole stock many years ago and made it fit. Still a work in progress.

They look great. I got the same result with my dull pipe cutter. At least it gives you a good guideline to follow with the dremel. Both of my 7.62x39s were threaded underneath the shroud. Hopefully your's is as well.

Sweet!! Dremel with a grinding bit or a drill bit will eat those welds up.

No threads on mine. I do have the die for it though.
