Sad News from VT "TISSUE ALERT"

Just received an e-mail from our big boss. I think I remember this guy from when he was in my Battalion.


I have sad news. Yesterday the Green Mountain Boys lost an outstanding soldier. SPC Chris Merchant, serving with TF Saber, was killed when an RPG struck his Hummer. SPC Merchant Served on active duty in the early ‘90’s, served with FA in the VTNG, and came back to the Guard to deploy with TF Saber. He leaves his wife, Monica, 4 children and other family. Please join me in praying for them and for the dedicated soldiers of Saber. You should know that our guys responded to this attack and others at that time with speed, focus and professionalism.
