SA XD-M 4.5 9MM

So, on a whim, I bought a XD-M 4.5 9MM. I was wondering what you guys like about it or don't like about it. (After I purchased it I really didn't want a 4 1/2 in barrel so I may sell it.)
Some feedback would be appreciated.

I’ve had one since 2011.

Pros: high capacity, accurate, interchangeable backstraps

Cons: holster availability (esp w/ lights), it’s not a Glock, slide release is in a place that I apparently touch with a normal grip - so the slide doesn’t always lock back on empty.

All in all, I’m not unhappy with it - if I were I wouldn’t still be carrying it after 9 years - but there’s essentially nothing about it that a G17 doesn’t do as well, or better, except for the 2 round capacity difference.

ETA: I forgot the trigger! It’s probably the best part. Probably the lightest, cleanest OEM striker-fire trigger I’ve encountered.

Great gun, IMO. Worst part is no 33 round mags, yet. Better trigger than glock, but basically a glock clone.
