S&W serial number look up

Doesnt seem to be any resource online to look up the serial number for a S&W pistol. I have seen mention of a book ("The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson," ) Anyone have a copy who could look up a number for me? Model 41, TYZ65xx. Im sure its nothing out of the ordinary, just curious.

Hello,

New member Here. I have 2 Smith & Wesson revolvers. I do not know much about them, as they were inherited to me by my father. They are both breakopen revolvers. Both .38 Caliber. One Serial Number is 101509, the other is 425961. Can anyone give me more information about these 2 revolvers? What year? What model?
