Anyone tried the S&W M&P SHIELD 45AP? thoughts, opinions?

I haven't tried one but I've heard good things. Only slightly bigger than the others and very little recoil. I have to try one

My buddy bought one a few months ago. It's a great .45. Low recoil. Accurate. Easy to shoot. He put a light on it and it's still not very heavy.

Pretty nice .45 all around IMHO.

.45 doesn't seem to get much love, why is that? I have just one .45, an HK45 full size, I love it. Wondering if I should get something smaller in .45.

The trigger is better and the grip texture is a huge improvement.

My local shop has one. Played with it at the shop. Nice textured grip trigger feels much nicer then the older ones. Havnt had a chance to shoot it but I'm sure it feels nice.

As I said above it's not on the list. However, since most S&Ws get approved, its only a matter of time before it as well as the .22 victory are as well.

I know. Seeing as how they've distributed S&W promo swag for the Victory (I'm wearing a Victory shirt as we speak) in MA, I doubt that it will be off the list for much longer.
