As we all know, the sites on the S&W J-Frames aren't the greatest to say the least. Has anybody tried any modifications to make the front sight contrast better?

I just picked up a 642, and the CT grips are def going to be my next investment. I noticed in my CT catalog there are 3 different lasers for the J frame, does anyone have a preference as to which one is best?

The LG-105s are bare-bones style... leaving the back strap exposed.

The LG-305s have the pinky extension on the bottom.

The LG-405s are what I have... they have the cushion pocket at the top of the back strap, and the rubber doesn't hang in my pocket. The cushion pocket REALLY helps shoot this gun!

Get a good pocket holster as well... I use the DeSantis Nemesis.

Tooltech Gunsight will drill the front sight and put a Tritium vial in. Looks pretty good, too.

The DeSantis is what I have and it is great. CT grips will be my next purchase, but I wouldn't mind contrasting sites for the range, I will have to do some research on Tooltech, those look nice.
