S/42G Frankenmauser build at 90%

Range report. Sunny, 48 degrees, light wind. 50 rounds, 15 yards '53 Yugo. Rifle and ammo performed perfectly. Target is the right one; the left is the qve45. First 5 were low and right. I moved the front sight, but the wrong way and the next 5 had the height, but were right. Put the sight the other way, and the last 5 were on.

The new cocking piece and safety were waiting when I got home. I wound up using the old cocking piece, and had to work on the safety. I had to relieve the cut outs and the top of the bolt shroud for clearance, but it works fine.

At some point this year, I'll take it down and remove the Russian finish. But were good for now. Recoil seemed more manageable than some of my other Masuers.
