Alright now I've noticed during summer time the 99c is a little bulkie for summer carry when I'm wearing shorts and sandals I dunno if its me being self consious but I feel like I need something slimmer and comfortable. Anyone own a ruger lc9? Been thinking about trading my 99c for one. Do you think it would be a good trade? and if anyone owns an lc9 how do you like it concealability wise and reliability? My 99c has yet to fail me at the rang I know id be giving up what a 2 or 3 round count but that doesn't concern me.
Just looking for a basic review from some real owners.
Thanks

I would get a better holster and better belt before you blame the gun. I used to carry a G19 around every summer... although skinnier than the P99, still had a bigger OAL, and had no trouble concealing it at all.

I've got the LC9 and a Walther P99c. The LC9 is much thinner, but despite liking it at first, I am probably selling it. The only positive thing I can say about it is it's a nice size and reasonably priced. Apart from that, like Mike says, a good holster will allow you to carry a bigger gun. And if you really need thin and like Walther, look at a PPS. I carry a PPS in a Crossbreed QwikClip. Honestly, the LC9 is not appreciably more comfortable, and the PPS is a much much better gun. The long reset on that Ruger with the fake reset click part way out is just a terrible trigger for self defense.

due to shoulder surgery, I have been pocket carrying my lc9 since I got it. no problem, great little summer gun, and pretty accurate if you do your part.

HA duh i havnt even thought of holsters ahhh stupid me....yeah i have a comptac iwb i think ill give crossbreed a try ive always heard good things about them, ive heard about the reset on the lc9 so i guess itd be kinda silly to trade over the AS trigger on the 99c, thanks for the input guys appreciate it
