Ruger 44 special

Hi,

Ruger advertised a 44 special in a GP100 3inch stainless configuration. I know it has been discontinued, but, I see new 1's offered on gunbroker and similar sites. Ruger advertised it as MA co mplaint. Can that revolver be ordered shipped to a dealer in Mass even though it has been discontinued?

Check the MA approved firearms roster

Check the roster to see if it is on it and then go talk to an FFL about having one shipped in, just dont assume they will accept it.

I bought mine from a MA dealer, I don't think production status matters.

looks a little to heavy, you could go with a 44 mag for a gun that size. i just shot a charter arms with heavy defense loads and it was not that bad. it is lighter and easier to conceal.
