Ruger 10/22 turns 50!

Is it just me, or is anyone else excited about the fact that the Ruger 10/22 can now be purchased as a C&R gun?

Not that I'm going to start up a sub-section of 10/22's in my collection, but I just like to see an iconic firearm become C&R eligible.

I wonder how they would define a C&R 10/22. Other C&R guns that i have bought are younger than 50 years old. I have bought several C&R guns that were made in the 1970's.

Guns don't "need" to be 50 yrs old. Ex the Cz 82 is C&R because
The country is out of business so to speak.

Indeed it won't be easy to find one. For year 1964 the S/Ns run 1 to 452!

Finding the month of mfr to make sure it is at least 50 yrs old, you'll need to call the company.
