If i did one tomorrow itd be in a KRG chassis with a 1-10 or something on it.

Love my 10/22 , only thing I've done was change the bolt and the bolt buffer. I swapped out the stock bolt which is very rough , with a Kidd bolt and buffer.
Is the grip ambidextrous?

I swore to myself i would not get into a custom 10-22
So it starts. I have had several 10-22s over the years. This is the first one that has shot well. Has a early kid trigger . so my plan is to make it a "match" rifle with iron sights. Will sport a globe front sight and either a lyman MJ 90 or redfield 75 rear match sight. Just need a...

mine looks like the rifle below, i poached the photo. i have 2, one has a 16" green mtn heavy barrel (shown) and the other, 18". they each have a magpul stock. the only thing original are the receivers on each, and they are stuffed with kidd components. they have nikon rimfire scopes. i kinda sorta modeled it after the israeli knee cappers.

I'm sure that I've put some TandemKross parts in there at some point, but nothing that makes a huge difference. That plastic buffer/retainer was a PITA to install.
Between the barrel and stock it has more $$ in it than what I paid for it used.

The only thing left of this that is Ruger is the receiver.
The barrel and trigger are Kidd. I can't remember what bolt is in it. The scope is Mueller and the stock is a Victor, Titan.
This is a 50 yard target.
I got one of those alkys ZK22 stocks with a binary trigger and a drum mag (kept in NH where magazine sizes arent an issue). Could use a bull barrel on it for mag dumps. but who is doing a lot of those these days anyhow.
